Pretty sure that only administrators can delete characters anyway. If your talking about players aging off on their accounts for being dormant too long, there's a daemon planned for that in the future that will make the timeout a fixed amount of time PLUS your in-game age.

That might have changed since I left wizardhood, but AFAIK that's how it's going to take place.
