Just one more reason for me to restrict crafting to single items at a time :P

Hmm, perhaps it would work if i set a flag on different items as to how many could be manufactured from a single command? What think ye all?

Or should it just be a flag on items that can only be produced one at a time?

Anytime it causes difficulty like that, it's reasonable to just have the command be a little less convenient. Go ahead and disallow multi-crafting on anything that has a configuration interface, sure.

For the majority of items, though, multi-crafting already works fine. I'd like to leave that option open, probably.
